We will have our next meeting at the home and garden of Jana Smith on Wednesday September 9, 2015 from 6-8 pm. It will be a POTLUCK.
Jana is creating a new “garden/pleasure spot” that she would love to have our input in relation to further design.
She would like you to bring your own chairs.
It would be most appreciated if anyone has extra garlic for Jana to plant.
Please bring food and ideas.
Her address is 15 Cottonwood Lane which is the first street after the bridge off of John Joy Road. Her telephone # is 684-5135.
thanks

In August 2015 Woodstock Transition received notice that town officials support the informal formation of an Active Transportation Advisory Council. This group of volunteer Woodstock residents would be the beginning of the long effort to building recommendations and a plan, which would eventually be incorporated into Woodstock’s Comprehensive Plan, for safe pedestrian and bicycling right-of-ways, clearly marked shared lanes and the many infrastructure elements of 3rd mode transportation.
The membership structure of this Active Transportation Advisory Council will be made up of Core Members, Supporting Members, and Advisory Members. The Active Transportation Advisory Council is not a working group of Woodstock Transition and its members will have affiliations from various Woodstock-based volunteer organizations. The initial meeting is tentatively scheduled to occur in mid September.

Hope that everyone’s garden is growing beautifully and producing wonderful food that we can all share at our next Garden Share meeting.
It will be Wednesday August 12, 2015 from 6-8 PM. Eeo Stubblefield will be hosting the Pot Luck event at her home and garden.
The information about the meeting, her telephone # and the directions for 154 The Middle Way, Mt Tremper can be found below. She would like an RSVP so she can prepare.
Enjoy!

Solarize: A community education and group purchasing program that makes Solar simple to understand and more affordable.
As of mid-August, over 120 households have enrolled in the Solarize Woodstock program. Remember, the more people commit to going solar, the lower the cost gets! All contracts must be signed by November 15th, when Solarize Woodstock Program ends.
