On 3/8/14 the 10% Challenge WG held an Information Session introducing Zena residents to Woodstock Transition’s Energy Challenge. RUPCO representatives gave an overview of NYSERDA’s Green NY Program and Central Hudson representatives reviewed their Energy Savings offerings. Also the owner of Energy Conservation Specialist, a local contractor that provides home energy audits, insulation, and air sealing services, aimed at lowering energy usage to heat & cool our homes.

Energry Advocate Meeting Held
On April 28, the 10% Challenge WG held a meeting with the Neighborhood Energy Advocates (7). After eating together, we assessed and listed our lessons learned from sponsoring and hosting the 10% Challenge events held in the first half of 2014.
Zena Neighborhood 10% Challenge Session
On Saturday, April 26th Woodstock Transition, at the Zena Firehouse, held another 10% Energy Challenge for the Zena Neighborhood Civic Group. Zena residents heard presentations from NYSERDA / RUPCO, Central Hudson and Energy Conservation Specialists.
