GS Meeting Feb 10th at 6:00PM at Dan Levy’s Passive Solar house

Hi GS Members,

The next Garden Share POTLUCK meeting will be February 10, 2016 from 6-8 pm at Dan Levy’s Passive House under construction at 44 Easton Lane, Woodstock. The structures are built with autoclaved aerated concrete, a lightweight pre-cast masonry product. The project meets the Passive House energy standard without foam insulation. Insulation products are Foamglas ™ (expanded glass), rigid mineral wool, and cellulose. We will meet in the apartment above the garage, and we can tour the house. The apartment is a full flight upstairs; the  apartment entrance door faces Easton Lane. 

Easton Lane is immediately west of the Woodstock School of Art off route 212, at a curve in the road. 
From Woodstock, drive 0.8 miles east on rt. 212 after the intersection of rt. 375; turn left on Easton Lane. Continue 0.2 miles to number 44 on the right. 
From Saugerties, drive west on rt. 212 and turn right on Easton Lane, immediately after the Woodstock School of Art. 
The main driveway is before the house; a rougher driveway is after the house. There is a builder’s sign for the Woodstock Passive House and a for sale sign.
